Unlike cowhide leather gloves, Deerskin motorcycle gloves have stretch width-wise and very little stretch length-wise. That means a snug fitting leather glove that will expand with your hand when you make a fist or grip something, but the fingers won't stretch and become too long.
Deerskin is different than any other type of hide, too. It has elongated interwoven fibers that give our motorcycle gloves an extremely high shear strength and abrasion resistance. Deerskin has natural spaces between its fibers that help make the leather soft and comfortable over a wide range of temperatures. That means your motorcycle gloves will be cooler in warm weather and warmer in cold weather. No other hide has these properties!
