These CNC cut, billet aluminum caps are perfectly mirror polished and hard chromed.
The clean chamfered design adds a very clean and custom look to the top of your fork tubes. These install with clear silicone which unlike a set screw, they will not come loose, they can be perfectly centered, and they do not damage the fork cap underneath.
They can be easily removed and re-installed for fork maintenance.

Installation Instructions:  The first step is to lower the fork tubes in the triple trees such that the top of thefork tubes are flush with the top of the upper triple tree. You want the hex of thefork cap ABOVE the top triple tree surface, the round portion of the cap should beFLUSH with the top triple tree upper surface.  You will have to jack up the motorcycle such that there is no weight on the frontwheel. The best way to accomplish this is with a motorcycle/atv lift. They are available for a little as $89, and are really an essential tool for maintaining your motorcycle.   Only when the motorcycle is fully supported, with no weight on the front tire, loosen the socket head cap screws in the upper and lower triple tree clamps.  Use a rubber mallet to gently tap the top of the fork tubes, a little at a time, alternating between left and right sides, until the desired height is reached on both sides. Check the height by laying a straight edge on the upper triple tree. If the tubes are too low, put some weight on the front tire to push them back up.  Tighten and Torque the socket head cap screws which clamp the triple trees to the forks per the Honda Manual.  The Fork Caps can now be installed using clear RTV silicone. This can be purchased at any hardware store or automotive store. Fill the counter bore in the under side of the fork caps with silicone and place over the hex heads on the forks. Use a paper towel to wipe away the excess. Align the cap so it lines up with the outside radius on the top triple tree for the cleanest look.  Allow the RTV to cure overnight. Use electrical tape to hold the caps in place.  The caps can be removed easily with some light prying, but are plenty secure for riding.  Double check that you have tightened everything before riding!!
